Make your own pair of mittens that you will want to wear all winter! These mittens are made of 100% felted duffle wool and genuine deerskin buckskin, designed to cut the wind and protect your wool from abrasion.

This workshop includes all of the materials required to complete and personalize your own pair of deerskin mittens. Using a cozy double layer of wool these mittens are guaranteed to keep your hands toasty this winter! Spend a fun and informative weekend learning from the best in the business, ending with a beautiful pair of highly functional, hand-made mittens.

Your instructors for this course are Kielyn and Dave Marrone, husband and wife team and owners of the Sudbury-based company Lure of the North. Together, they’ve built a life and a career that is driven by their passion for traditional winter travel, crafts and northern culture. Kielyn and Dave have been on multiple excursions through northern Ontario and can attest to the warmth of these durable mittens.
