Join us for a lecture and collection storage tour on October 29!
1 p.m. – Collection storage tour with Curator Jeremy Ward
2 p.m. – Lecture by Wendy Grater
Join Wendy Grater and Black Feather as we explore Northern Yukon’s 3 sisters; the Bonnet Plumer, Snake and Wind Rivers. Part of the Peel Watershed, these rivers encompass over 68,000 square kilometres of rugged northern wilderness, which is one of the largest unroaded natural areas in the world. You’ll see the different characteristics of these wild waterways and learn why this area is under industrial threats and needs your protection and support.
