On February 27, we recieved a cheque from Publican House Brewery for our portion of the sales from Paddler’s Ale, a beer new to the lineup in 2017.

Surrounded by local media and tourism partners, Marty Laskaris, co-founder and president of Publican House Brewery, shared how their desire to support the community grew into a successful partnership. Carolyn, our general manager, thanked Publican House on our behalf, shared of our hopes to see the reach of Paddler’s Ale continue to spread!
The brewery finds Paddler’s Ale has a look customers tend to reach for on the shelf, and a refreshing, smooth taste that keeps people coming back. We have noticed the same, as Paddler’s Ale is a favourite at our Silver Canoe Dinners, Volunteer Potluck and annual Beaver Club Gala!

The beer was first sold at the brewery’s retail location, and it is now available in 473mL cans from other locations including Sobey’s on Towerhill Road, Peterbough and LaManita’s Grocery in Lindsay. Soon, Paddler’s Ale will be available at Sobey’s on Lansdowne Street as well. Visitors to the Publican House Brew Pub can enjoy Paddler’s Ale on tap.
We’re grateful for all who purchased Paddler’s Ale in 2017, and we hope you will continue to support us by raising a glass in 2018!
