Make a Wet-Felted Vessel

This workshop is an introduction to the wet felting technique. Begin with merino wool roving and create our own unique textile by adding water, soap and friction. Enjoy the day learning from a knowledgeable local artisan, Christianna Ferguson, and leave with your own one-of-a-kind felted vessel!

All supplies required to make your vessel are provided, and no experience is necessary!

Make a Crooked Knife

In this two-day workshop each participant will make their own crooked knife, beginning with a bar of tool steel and using readily available hand tools. You will learn about blade and handle design, shaping and heat-treating steel, attaching and shaping a handle, and sharpening the blade while crafting your own one-of-a-kind knife. Everyone will finish with a crooked knife made to comfortably fit their own hand.
