Admissions

Your next adventure awaits at The Canadian Canoe Museum, a destination that brings together culture, history, and authentic outdoor experiences!

Admission & Advance Tickets

We look forward to welcoming visitors to the new museum following our grand opening in May 2024! Until then, construction work continues, and our current 910 Monaghan Road location remains closed to the public.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Little Lake in Peterborough, ON, our newly constructed museum and waterfront campus at 2077 Ashburnham Drive offers the ultimate visitor experience.

From the Exhibition Hall to the Lakefront Campus, we offer a variety of ways to connect with the land, water, and canoe, whether you are an avid paddler, history buff, or adventurous family.

Explore 20,000 square feet of new exhibits, designed in collaboration with Indigenous Peoples, featuring watercraft from around the world, and immerse yourself in the rich stories and diverse cultures of the canoe and kayak. Go at your own pace or take a guided tour – and be sure to peek into the integrated Collection Hall to witness the incredible depth and diversity of the collection!

Experience the joy of paddling with guided voyageur canoe tours, or rent a canoe or kayak and explore the waters of Little Lake at your leisure. Or learn a new craft or ability in our artisan workshops and certification courses. Then enjoy a coffee or a meal at the Silver Bean Café overlooking the lake while reflecting on your unforgettable visit.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the world’s largest collection of canoes, kayaks, and paddled watercraft.
