The Canadian Canoe Museum is pleased to share that an episode of CTV’s MasterChef Canada, filmed in the galleries late last year, will air tonight at 9 p.m. on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app.

The following is a description of the episode from a CTV news release, Canada’s Top 5 Home Cooks Revealed on CTV’s MASTERCHEF CANADA.

In “Gifts from the Earth,” airing Monday, May 27 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app, the Top 4 home cooks travel to the Canadian Canoe Museum for a team challenge inspired by Canada’s roots. Indigenous guest chefs join the judges in tasting the teams’ menus, specially prepared to honour The Three Sisters of indigenous agriculture. The winning teammates move ahead to the competition’s semi-final, while the losing team fights it out in the most challenging Pressure Test to date.

The museum was pleased to have the opportunity to welcome the MasterChef Canada cast and crew.

“We’re always looking for new and different ways to tell the story of our museum and its world-class collection. Working with MasterChef Canada is a truly unique way to share with audiences across Canada – and beyond,” said Carolyn Hyslop, Executive Director, adding that the filming took place in one day, and museum staff and volunteers marvelled at how quickly and professionally it appeared to come together.

“We’re all looking forward to watching tonight’s episode to find out exactly what transpired as part of the team challenge in the galleries that day. Needless to say, we’re in suspense! What we do know, is that the aromas in the museum were unbelievable.”
