Make Your Own Anorak

November 4, 2019 @ 8:30 am - November 5, 2019 @ 5:30 pm

$320

Create your own anorak out of 100% cotton, tightly woven, waterproof fabric to wick moisture away and keep you warm all winter. The anoraks are designed to cover your thighs and to accommodate many layers underneath. Complete the anorak with a hood with an (optional) coyote fur ruff to trap warm air inside the hood that creates a micro-climate in front of your face. Create a beautiful, durable and windproof outer layer- no sewing experience is required and all necessary materials are provided!

Your instructors for this course are Kielyn and Dave Marrone, husband and wife team and owners of the Sudbury-based company Lure of the North. Together, they’ve built a life and a career that is driven by their passion for traditional winter travel, crafts and northern culture. Kielyn and Dave have been on multiple excursions through northern Ontario.
