Weave a Pair of Snowshoes

October 9, 2019 @ 8:30 am - October 10, 2019 @ 5:30 pm

$325

Create your very own pair of hand-woven snowshoes in this popular two day workshop.

This workshop begins with a large selection of the best frames on the market (high quality white ash) and incredibly durable and functional 400 pound test fishing line (monoline) from Vancouver Island. The monoline is lighter, stronger and more abrasion-resistant than traditional rawhide. Plus, it doesn’t require varnish or annual maintenance and it is much less likely to stick to wet snow.

Your instructors for this course are Kielyn and Dave Marrone, husband and wife team and owners of the Sudbury-based company Lure of the North.
