Winter Break Activities & Crafts
December 27, 2019 @ 10:30 am - January 5, 2020 @ 5:00 pm

Join us at The Canadian Canoe Museum for canoes and crafts this winter break! From December 27th to January 5th, our galleries will be filled with drop-in seasonal activities and crafts to make and take home, including mason jar snow globes, Northern Lights art, and more.
Our drop-in activities are available thirty minutes after opening and up until thirty minutes before closing (Monday to Saturday, 10:30am-4:30pm; Thursday until 7:30pm; and Sunday, 12:30-4:30pm), and are free with admission or membership! Parent/guardian supervision is required.

There’s nothing like a hand-made card for someone you love! Drop-in to try out yarn, stamping, and other unique card ideas. Blank on the inside so that you can use them for the holidays, thank you cards or other occasions.

Decoration Station
A changing selection of paper and wood ornaments to hang on your tree or in your home. Paint-chip trees, deer ornaments, cinnamon trees and more.

Snow Globes
Back by popular demand, make a mason jar snow globe to take home!

Felt Canoe
Add your favourite seasonal shapes to our full-size felt canoe board!

Once you and your little ones have crafted to your hearts delight, spend the rest of your visit in our family-friendly areas putting on a puppet show, trying out our rocking canoe, building a cabin with link-n-logs, or finding the artifacts with our gallery scavenger hunt!
