Introducing the Canoe Bus: Your All-Inclusive Ticket to Exploration!
This summer and fall, take advantage of our brand-new Canoe Bus service, offering convenient coach rides from Toronto to Peterborough with 12 dates to choose from beginning June 26, National Canoe Day!

Whether you’re a history buff, a canoeing enthusiast, or looking for a unique family outing, the Canoe Bus makes it easy to embark on an unforgettable experience.

The Canoe Bus will run on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, June 26 (National Canoe Day)
  • Saturday, June 29 (Canada Day weekend)
  • Sunday, June 30 (Canada Day weekend)
  • Saturday, August 3 (Civic Holiday weekend)
  • Wednesday, August 14
  • Saturday, August 31 (Labour Day weekend)
  • Saturday, September 14
  • Wednesday, September 18
  • Wednesday, September 25
  • Saturday, October 12 (Thanksgiving weekend)
  • Wednesday, October 16
  • Saturday, October 26


Schedule

8:00 AM: Pick up outside the St. Clair station on Pleasant Boulevard in Toronto. Depart for Peterborough.
10:00 AM: Drop off at the entrance to The Canadian Canoe Museum.

For lunch, order from the onsite Silver Bean Cafe or bring your own and enjoy a picnic on our lakefront campus.

3:00 PM: Return to the bus and depart for Toronto.
5:00 PM: Drop back off on Pleasant Blvd.

Departure Times & Pick Up Location

The Canoe Bus will pick up and depart from Pleasant Boulevard, outside the St. Clair subway station in Toronto, ON at 8 AM. Look for The Canadian Canoe Museum’s logo on a coach bus to identify the Canoe Bus!

If you are driving to the Canoe Bus, there is a parking garage nearby located at 40 Pleasant Boulevard.


Cancellation Policy

Full refunds of deposits or other payments are possible for reservations if cancellation requests are made by email more than 25 days before departure. To cancel your ticket, please email [email protected] with the name(s) your ticket is purchased under.

Payments can be transferred to new dates if reservations are rebooked before the refund deadline.

When cancellation requests are made less than 25 days before departure, an administration fee of 50% of the total ticket fee will be retained.

Refunds will be made through our online reservation system and are applied to the same credit card that was used to secure the original booking. Please note that refunds may take several days to be processed.


FAQs

Is the Canoe Bus fully accessible?

The Canoe Bus is unfortunately not fully accessible. There is space to store mobility aids beneath the bus, but no way to board the bus with mobility aids such as wheelchairs, and no accessible seats available on the bus. We hope to offer fully accessible options to our Canoe Bus program in the future.
