Weathering and Waiting

Weathering and Waiting will premiere as part of the celebrations for the opening of the Canadian Canoe Museum’s new waterfront site. These performances are presented by Public Energy Performing Arts and will take place behind the museum near the docks on:



Sunday June 23 @ 2:00pm
Thursday June 27 @ 8:30pm
Thursday July 4th @ 8:30pm 


This inter-arts performance features a unique apparatus -the aerial canoe – taking audiences on an emotional journey, told with the spectacle of circus, theatre and music. Created and performed by Jennifer Elchuk (Opal), with circus artists Victoria Kopf, Jeff Cadence, original music by aquapher (Jared Bremner) and lighting design by Patricia Levert.

This 30 minute performance takes place outdoors. Please dress for the weather. Some seating will be provided, but audiences are encourage to bring their own portable chair or blanket.

This is an excellent opportunity to tour the Canadian Canoe Museum before or after the show, however admission to the museum must be paid separately (admission & tickets available below).

Admission to the performance is by donation.
