#CCMfromhome: Canoe Cut Outs!

Colorful pencil crayons lay beside a canoe cutout printable, filled in with green and pink

If you’ve visited the museum with children, or stopped by our booth at a trade show or outreach event, you’ve likely seen our popular Canoe (and Kayak!) Cut Outs! Now we are bringing the museum to you at home!

These printable canoe cut outs allow you and your family to colour and craft your very own miniature canoe or kayak! Did you know these are modelled on actual canoes and kayaks in our collection: an Ojibway Bark Canoe, Nuu-chah-nulth Dugout Canoe, and a Sanikiluarmiut Kayak? It’s true!

TIP: If you use crayons, and colour your canoe or kayak very thoroughly, it will be waterproofed for its maiden voyage.

What adventure will your miniature canoe or kayak go on? We encourage you to share your canoe (or kayak) creations with us by tagging us on social media (@cndncanoemuseum) and using the hashtag #CCMfromhome. We’d love to share your creations online with our community!
