Whether it’s to upgrade your resume for work or to pursue personal interests, The Canadian Canoe Museum can help you obtain the certifications you are interested in!

We work with excellent instructors and offer a variety of courses from recognized organizations for all skill levels across multiple disciplines. Courses take place at The Canadian Canoe Museum, unless otherwise noted.

Additional Information

  • Courses do not include food or drink. Pack your own lunch, or plan to purchase one from our on-site Silver Bean Cafe.
  • Each course may require a specific packing list. Course instructors will reach out prior to your arrival to ensure you bring the necessary items.
  • Equipment is provided for our paddling courses. However, you are welcome to bring your own PFD, paddle, or canoe!
  • Certification courses run rain or shine, so please dress and pack weather-appropriate.

Today, ORCKA continues to grow in a dynamic manner to support and develop recreational canoeing and kayaking in Ontario!”
