Weddings

A venue like no other for a day like no other.

Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and it deserves a truly unique location that will make it unforgettable. That’s where the Canadian Canoe Museum comes in. Our brand-new, beautiful event space on the waterfront is unlike any other venue you’ve seen before.

Imagine being paddled in for your dockside ceremony, enjoying cocktail hour in our spacious atrium, or watching the sunset from our second-floor terrace. The many spaces of the Museum allow for creativity when designing your special day!

We work with a select group of caterers that provide excellent, top-quality meals in our event space that seats 170 for dinner. Our event staff are dedicated to making your wedding a seamless event, so you can relax and enjoy every moment.

That’s not all: Your guests will also receive entry into the Exhibition Hall to view the world’s largest collection of canoes and kayaks. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that they’ll be talking about for years to come!

A bridge and a groom sit at the end of a wooden dock on a lake with their backs to the camera. The bride leans on the groom. Her bouquet sits on the dock beside her. In the background are trees.

We offer four wedding packages to choose from, so you can find the perfect fit for your special day. Whether you want a simple ceremony and cocktail hour, a full day of celebration, or exclusive use of the Museum, we’ve got you covered. Plus, with additional services like a guided Voyageur Canoe Tour and a campfire pit, you can add even more memorable touches to your wedding day.

We are excited to work with you to execute your vision…but first, congratulations!
